I never intended to become a “politician” and don’t consider myself as such, but once elected, I’ve worn the label. I just wanted to help from the first time I stopped by to see what was going on at city hall. I have always been civic-minded and enjoy helping our neighbors.
I count it as a blessing to be able to offer a helping hand or be a voice for others. Some of the areas in which I enjoying serving or have served in our community include: Bailey’s Grove Baptist Church, The Kiwanis Club of Asheboro, The Community Foundation, Western Carolina University Alumni Association, The Asheboro - Randolph Chamber of Commerce, Randolph County Crime Stoppers, Habitat For Humanity of Randolph County, Randolph Economic Development Corporation, Asheboro Firefighters Relief Fund, Randolph County GOP Executive Committee, The Salvation Army of Randolph, Montgomery and Richmond Counties, The United Way of Randolph County, The American Advertising Foundation, and First Bank Advisory Board.
